Edith is a dancer inspired by the Fat Chance Belly Dance® Style & its roots. Fat Chance Belly Dance® Style was created by Carolena Nericchio in San Francisco. It fuses various dances of the world like Classical Indian, Flamenco, Egyptian Raqs Sharki, & folk dances of North Africa & Europe. It is characterized by improvisational dancing in community through a shared movement vocabulary. Edith dances with the Barefoot Truth Dance Company, founded by Nova Dawn and co-directed by Whitley-Nabintu Marshall.

Edith holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. She completed Yoga New Hampshire’s 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Empower Yoga, Portsmouth, in 2016. She completed teacher training in FCBD® Style in Orlando, Florida with Carolena in 2017. She is a Sister Studio of Fat Chance Belly Dance.®
